Shakespeare's town

We arrived in Stratford yesterday morning and moored on the pontoons in Bancroft Basin alongside the gardens and the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.
We have explored the town on our own and also on a guided tour. We have seen where Shakespeare was born, lived, went to school, died and was buried.
Last night with just 10 minutes to go before the performance we managed to get some returned tickets for A Midsummer Night's Dream.  A fantastic production in a superb theatre. I really enjoyed it. The building has been recently refurbished with apron stage and walkways and tiered circular seating. There is also now a rooftop restaurant and the tower is open for viewing the town.

On the way down to Stratford we crossed the Edstone aqueduct, the longest in England, (but only a tiddler compared to Pontcysyllte).  Since I scrambled down the bank to take photos, I thought they shouldn't be missed out.
