Narrowboat Tacet

Silent Movement - Our gap year travelling the inland waterways

Friday 1 February 2013

Winter Sunshine

We have had a couple of days at Nantwich, where we have been to the market, the town museum and kept out of the wind and rain. Yesterday we moved on and turned onto the Middlewich branch of the Shropshire Union towards, surprisingly, Middlewich.  Our mooring last night at Church Minshull was quiet and peaceful with views stretching for miles around.

After several blustery days and nights where we have been rocked to sleep on board Tacet, today dawned bright and sunny.
So this morning's walk with Jumble was a treat.

So it was really lovely to be cruising along in the with the warmth of the sun on our backs into Middlewich.  What a privilege it is to be able to.
